池田光(Vocal, Guitar)、深澤希実(Keyboards, Vocal)、
渡邉麻美子(Bass, Chorus)、山本武尊(Drums, Chorus)
からなる男女混声４人組バンド。
2013年に「Charles」結成。2014年「閃光ライオット」ファイナルで入場制限がかかるなど結成当初からその高い音楽性が注目を集めたが一度解散し、2018年に再結成。
深澤希実が新たに加わり４人体制で活動を再開し、4か月連続で自主企画ライブを立て続けにSOLD OUTさせる。2020年にライブ会場限定CD「西へ行こうよe.p.」をリリース。
2020年8月、バンド名をYENMA(読み方：えんま)に改名し、初の全国流通盤「Piñata」(読み方：ぴにゃーた)を10月にリリースする。

Tokyo-based band, YENMA, consists of Hikaru Ikeda(Vocal, Guitar), Nozomi Fukasawa(Keyboard, Vocal), Mamiko Watanabe(Bass, Chorus), and Takeru Yamamoto(Drums, Chorus).
Its predecessor group, “Charles”, was first formed in 2013, and they performed on the final stage of “Senko Riot 2014”.
They have split up once, however have got back together again in 2018 with the new member, Nozomi Fukasawa.
Since then, they have been on the gigs consecutively with their first CD “Nishi-e-Ikoyo e.p.” released in 2020.
In the August of 2020, “Charles” changed their name to “YENMA”, and will release their first nationwide-distribution-CD, “Piñata” in October of 2020.
